Wedding planning for 2017? Put yourself in the picture!

2017 is now getting into its stride as we head into wedding fair season. If you are planning a wedding for this year, now is the time to head to your nearest wedding fair for wedding planning inspiration. When it comes to the vital question of photography, have you considered adding an extra element of fun to it for couple and guests alike? Maybe a little more than the usual or predictable?

We have the answer. Wedding photo cutouts are about as much fun as it’s possible to have (in public!) with a camera. Photocutouts.co.uk will be at quite a few wedding fairs in the first quarter of 2017, but we can’t attend them all, so here is a taste of the fun that face in hole boards can bring to your wedding.

Nobody can resist them. Long after the bride and groom have posed for their memorable photos, guests will be trying it themselves. We make a range of traditional wedding-themes face in the hole boards to hire or buy, such as Shotgun Wedding, Ball and Chain, Over The Theshold, Father Of The Bride and Bouquet Bundle. See the whole range here.

Off-the-peg or custom made

All out photo cutout boards are made in-house by our team of skilled designers and carpenters. We specialise in making bespoke face in the hole boards as well as the regular range, and we love creating individualised, one-off custom boards. You can give us an idea for a design or just tell us about the bride and groom or send us photos of them, and we’ll do a draft design for you. We work with you until you are absolutely happy with it, then print the design in full-colour high resolution onto weatherproof, durable, lightweight foamex PVC board and ship it out to you in good time for the big day.

A custom board can be personalised in any way you want to make it unique and memorable. Here’s a little video about how we make them.

So if you are doing your wedding planning, we hope to see you at a wedding fair near you soon. If we don’t run into you, give us a call on 08450 570 321 or email office@connectedshopping.com to ask about an off-the-peg or custom photo cutout board or two to create great photo memories of your wedding.

Zombies getting on your Nerfs?

No, it’s not a spelling mistake. We now offer you the opportunity to blast zombies with Nerf guns! The soft foam projectiles are tipped with suction cups so they stick to the drooling undead boards and you can claim a hit! (Here’s a tip: go for the brains)

Zombies, the walking dead, nerf guns, children's games, zombie games, foam darts
This is an early prototype version with ink-tipped foam darts. It was cool, but you couldn’t see whose dart had made the hit. With coloured suction darts, the hits stick there for all to see.

It all started when a customer requested a face in hole board of a zombie for a child’s twelfth birthday party. After making the board, we thought we’d go one step further and make it into a target. We found some amazing, mean-looking Nerf guns and managed to source the sucker-tipped projectiles that actually stick to the board rather than bouncing off. And so Zombie Shoot Up was born.

We timed the release to coincide with the start of a new series of The Walking Dead to capture the attention of grown-ups and older teens, but we made the game itself pretty child-friendly. The zombies are cartoonish and not too scary. But boy, it’s fun to shoot them!

The Nerf guns really are just ridiculously cool. They range from an entry-level pistol to a pump-action destroyer for more firepower.

The more zombie boards you have, the more firepower you wil need to deal with the onslaught.

There are three packages to hire: Rookie, Defender and Veteran. The higher up you go, the more Nerf guns, boards and ammo you get. So head on over to our site and see which version of Zombie Shoot Up you want to hire or buy for your next birthday party, school event, or college party.
