Bees need all the help they can get at the moment. And if we help them we are helping ourselves. As essential pollinators, their decline in numbers is a threat to whole ecosystems. And that’s not to even mention the delicious honey they make.
Plan Bee Ltd. are a company who offer beehive adoption, management and educational services. They are an ethical, sustainable eco-innovation business who help organisations to enhance their green credentials. Their customers include Highland Spring and construction giant Balfour Beatty.
Plan Bee offers companies a way of growing their Corporate Sustainability profile by establishing and managing honeybee hives at their chosen location. Hives can also be situated at golf courses, grouse-shooting estates, hotels, farms and in urban environments. They also run community projects and offer hive adoption for individuals.
They asked us to make a promotional photo cutout board featuring their logo and hashtag. It was used at a ‘Go Wild in the Spring’ event an the National Museum of Rural Life Scotland, where Plan Bee’s byproducts were tasted, including lots of that lovely honey.
The artwork was supplied by Shirley Lochhead of Tea And Type. Here’s her page about the artwork. We love it because it projects Plan Bee’s ethos of constructing and building to bolster bee populations in the countryside.
Promotional face in hole boards are a tried and tested way to attract attention at public events. That’s because people love to interact with them by sticking their faces through the holes and having their photos taken. The photos tend to get shared on social media, too, and if the organisation’s web address, phone number or hashtag is prominently displayed on the board, then photo sharing offers more free publicity!
Our bespoke promotional face in hole boards create a focus for people to interact with staff and have a bit of fun. Why not order one for your organisation?
